This page explains exactly what we collect when you order food here, why we need each piece, who else sees it, and how to get it deleted. It describes what the site actually does today. There is no section about data we don't collect.
Who you are dealing with
OrderSeedha is the website you are ordering through. Bake Ur Day (for most outlets, ZLOZE FOOD PRIVATE LIMITED, trading as Bake Ur Day) is the bakery: they make the food, deliver it, take your cash at the door, and are the party you are actually buying from. Your order details are passed to the Bake Ur Day outlet you ordered from so they can cook and deliver it.
What we collect, and why
Everything below is collected because an order cannot happen without it.
- Your phone number. Required. It is how your order is identified — there is no account and no password — and it is how the bakery calls you to confirm the order before they start baking. That call is part of how this pilot works, so a reachable number is essential.
- Your delivery address — the flat or building, and a landmark if you give one. Used to deliver your order.
- Your delivery location as coordinates. Either from your device, if you allow location access, or from the area you pick from the list. Used to check you are inside the outlet's 3 km delivery radius and to show you how far away each restaurant is. If you allow location access, these coordinates are precise.
- Your order — the items, quantities, prices, the amount due in cash, and the times at which the order was placed, confirmed, accepted and delivered.
- Any instructions you type in the cooking or delivery notes. These are free text and are passed to the bakery as written, so please don't put anything in them you would not want the shop to read.
- How many orders you have placed and received, and whether any order came back undelivered. If cash is refused at the door, the number is blocked from ordering again — see retention, below.
We do not ask for your name, email address, date of birth, or any payment details. There is no online payment on this site: you pay the delivery rider in cash, so no card or bank information ever reaches us.
What stays on your phone
Your shopping cart and the delivery area you picked are stored in your browser's local storage on your own device. They are not sent to us until you place an order. Clearing your browser data removes them.
We set no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, no session recording and no third-party tracker anywhere on this site.
Who else sees it
- The Bake Ur Day outlet you ordered from. They see your phone number, delivery address, your instructions and the order itself, on their own order screen. An outlet can only see orders placed with that outlet — the database enforces this, not just the interface.
- Supabase, which hosts our database. The data is stored on servers in Mumbai, India.
- Vercel, which hosts this website and the code that processes an order.
- Google Fonts. Your browser loads the site's typefaces directly from Google's servers, which means Google can see your IP address and browser when a page loads. We send them nothing else, and this happens on every page whether or not you order.
That is the complete list. We do not sell your data, we do not share it for advertising or profiling, and we do not pass it to data brokers. If a court or the law required us to hand something over we would have to, and we are not aware of ever having been asked.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept while the pilot runs and afterwards for as long as we need them for our accounts, tax records and to settle any dispute about an order. You can ask us to delete your details before then — see below.
One exception, stated plainly: if a number has been blocked for refusing to pay cash on delivery, we keep that number on the block list. Deleting it would undo the block.
Getting your data, or getting it deleted
Email us from any address, quoting the phone number you ordered with, and tell us what you want:
- a copy of what we hold about that number,
- a correction, if something is wrong,
- or deletion of your details and order history.
We will do it within 30 days, and we will tell you if there is anything we have to keep and why. We may ask you to confirm the request from the phone number itself, because that number is the only identifier we hold and we have no other way to know the request is yours.
Keeping it safe
The site is served over HTTPS. The keys that can read the database live only on the server and never in your browser. Access is scoped in the database itself, so one restaurant cannot read another's orders and a customer's order can only be opened with the unguessable link issued when it was placed. No system is perfect; this is what we do.
Children
This site is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their details.
Changes
If we change what we collect, we will change this page and update the date at the top.
